I just tried this with ADO and ODBC 3.00.01.03:

Select tablename,sum(currentperm) as xx
from dbc.tablesize
group by 1;

It works fine with the appropriate rows and values.

I used Teradata sessionmode and executed it as CommandText with AsyncFetches.
