Geoffrey's note made me think of something that had not occurred to me before.

For each pass, can you generate a random number with a different range?

random(1,1000000)
random(1000001,2000000)
...

-or-

generate each set independent of the others and add a value to ensure that the subset is independent.

random(...)+1000000
random(...)+2000000
...
