Subj:   Sending Mail in UNIX & Granting privileges on ALL

From:   Christy Jahn

Our UNIX application nodes have lost the ability to mail to any address outside our company domain. The server team within our company tells us the mail servers reject the mail because they don't recognize the format. The file servers recognize (for example) jahnc@??1??.com but not jahnc@??2??.com

Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, on our production system DBC has lost it's privileges to grant a user access on "all" - this is because DBC has lost it's privileges on ALL. Does anyone know how I can grant them back to DBC? When I try GRANT ALL ON "ALL" TO DBC WITH GRANT OPTION; I get a user doesn't have privileges error. I've opened up a ticket with NCR but it has been 3 days and NCR still does not understand that granting a user accesses on ALL is something created in the DIP and not a database I've created!

Thanks!
