We used Informatica as a 'black box' component to MSI eCRM 7 product but had many problems. In this particular case we did not own the
full version so could not change the maps. Our biggest problem with using Informatica and other ETL tools is that the bulk of our source
data is on MVS mainframe and nothing I have seen uses the channel connection from mainframe to Teradata. We write our own ETL to use
multiload/fastload across the channel.
