Have any of you experienced blocking/locking issues when users utilize MS-Access to update a Teradata table?
For example, a user may leave the PC unattended with an update query running via MS Access to Teradata. If something occurred that
required a user response to the PC, the Teradata lock on the table would continue to be held until a response was given. Thus, the table
could be locked indefinately unless you abort in PMON. I understood this was a way MS Access worked with Teradata.
