If I remember right, the only issue with using Access against Teradata is that when you do an insert of rows from Access, they are treated as single step value inserts. So if this e-mail track relates to a user populating many rows (in the 100000s) through access, the DBA may be unhappy because it fills up his accesslog table and is also potentially quite slow when comparing to a more suitable bulk load method.

Other than that, Access is not a bad tool.
