We used MS Access extensively on an AT&T project; it was on all desktop PCs as part of Office Professional, and our mandate was to see
if it could act as the users' interface. Our databases were relatively small, so Access/ODBC worked well. We developed 3 applications with
Access as the user frontend and backend, and were able to develop tools that took advantage of Teradata SQL, BTEQ, etc. on the TD side and
Access Basic/VBA on the Access side. All things considered, it all worked well.
