We have been using Crystal Reports since the early 1990's. Connect to Teradata thru ODBC just like using Microsoft Access.

Found it to be an excellent reporting tool for general and executive reporting and much better than the report writer in Microsoft Access, but a steeper learning curve. Easy to quickly get nicely formatted reports from Teradata. In the past, Crystal Reports was always rated the top tool for reporting. Definitely industrial strength.

We are locked-in at version 5.0 and never migrated further since they no longer provide us the substantial education discounts once offered.
