Subj:   Re: How to adjust time on a Teradata server?

From:   John K. Wight

I guess I never thought of Queryman as an 'information discovery' tool for users. I know that there are customers who have users that use it, but they are VERY SQL savvy. Is your customer's users that way? OR, are you talking about the IT development/support staff.

I don't believe TOAD works with anything other than ORACLE. Not sure, just have seen it and it is VERY Oracle oriented. At a customer I'm currently at, they see a combination of Queryman and WinDDI as a good replacement for TOAD in their Oracle environment.

Also, about this one tool "thingy" - may I ask a question without trying to be 'cheeky'?

What one tool do you have at home that will fix everything? (No, telephone or duck tape are not acceptable).

Again, just JK's thoughts for what they are worth on the market today!
