Word of caution... I think you should be very careful about switching on access logging for a generic session which may be logged on for days. The PI of dbc.acclogtbl (which is where the results of access logging are stored) is Logondate and LogonTime. Not nice ! Having said that, Sharon's idea of looking for the latest logged entry will probably help you if you can have different sessions, each one executing fewer sql requests. Today I don't think there's an awful lot that can be done about this. The logical place to change this is within the application middle tier (in this case CERES) to pass the 'real' username through to Teradata.
