Alas, I can't help you here. Our users manipulate the recursive tables themselves. Moreover, I assume that this must be a pretty
big table; if it weren't, you would be considering the obvious expedient of extracting into another table. I think Claybourne has done a
fair amount of work with entities like this, though -- perhaps he can offer some tips.
