Beth,
The main issues with SAS I have seen at several customers is that it takes a long time to pull data off the system for analysis. This
results in heavy LAN traffic and a very long wait period between results. The other issue is that these customers wanted to analyze data at
the detail level but had to switch to highly summarized data because of the volumes that they were pulling into SAS datasets were too much
for SAS to handle. Both of these customers have since switched to Teradata Warehouse Miner which eliminated both of these problems.
