Has anyone tried to utilize teradata tables through an oracle database link? I am working on a project using the Oracle Portals utility
and running reports that go against a teradata table. I get extremely slow response just using the database link through Oracle's SQLPlus
tool. If I use the same query using Queryman on the same server I run SQLPlus the query takes about 30 seconds. This would indicate to me
that it isn't a network issue. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
