I seem to recall someone posting a message that stated that they were running ASF2 from their application nodes - instead of it having to be resident on the nodes running Teradata.

We are in the process upgrading both our test and production systems, and are very interested in running ASF2 from our application nodes.

I would appreciate any advice - either for, or against, the idea!
