Configuring a WinCli connection is a doddle. ODBC uses the same 'bits' (technical term !). Add an entry to your hosts file for each i/p address of the Teradata server, e.g. 1.2.3.4 teracop1 The 'cop?' at the end is the required bit. To speed up LOGON processing (and only logon processing) for the example above add a line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT ,e.g. set tera=3 (the number of 'cop' entries in your hosts file).
