Would have thought that an IRR (Internal Rate of Return) or CBA (Cost Benefit Analysis) exercise would be the way to go. When you're dealing with Senior Finance oriented management, their collective eyes glaze over until you get into an area they understand and are motivated by. Look at the effects of DW led decisions on Market Share, Share Price, Return on Capital Invested etc and you will be in the right neck of the woods. These areas are hard to quantify, but if you can - they are the silver bullets.
