Thanks, and what if I am joining the tables from two different databases (on one server). Big portion of the data is in the data warehouse but some columns are in data mart database. Should I insert the data into one database (for example in data mart temp tables) or can I keep it divided and join it through the databases? How does it affect the performance?

And one more question - does Teradata support creating the Indexed Views?
