Also - we discovered that the total number of lan sessions is basically limited to the number of lan connections x 600 sessions each.
There is a default limit of 600 sessions per lan-attached node (the node that you plug the lan cable into). This is true even though the
lan peps in that host group are spread across all the nodes. See the "Teradata RDBMS Utilities Vol. 1 A-K" manual, chapter 13 for the
Gateway Control Utility. To view the current limit for sessions per node, enter the command:
gtwcontrol -d
