This is a sore subject (at least for me). There is no OLEDB driver. There will be, some time in 2002 according to the last roadmap I saw. You can use the OLEDB provider for ODBC. But this has numerous limitations and idiosyncrasies.

I was painfully reminded of of this when I cranked up the Visual Studio .Net Beta 2 and discovered they do not yet support use of the OLEDB driver for ODBC. So if you want to start using .Net with Teradata (and I'd suggest that you might cause .Net has some very cool technology) you'll just have to wait.

I'd love to hear that an OLEDB driver for Teradata was going to be available before 2002. Even a beta. NCR feed us please!
