Change the ODBC driver's DateTimeFormat setting on the client machine from the default "III" (backward compatibility with earlier versions of Teradata) to "AAA" (works with the widest variety of client software).

I don't understand the remark about having "already changed ... to Teradata date". Particularly if this is a new install, you may be happier with ANSIDATE.
