Sorry I don't have a direct answer, but I remember a whole section that demonstrated the way macros handled default vs explicit databases
in the Advanced SQL class (but it was a couple of years ago that I taught it, and I was translating into Spanish as I went). I also don't
have the materials for the class on hand (one of the great "benefits" of being divorced, of which I think there are none, is that all your
books become difficult to access or find). Anyway, hope this is of a little help.
