A good place to define and maintain them is in ERwin if you use it. I find more and more that those who have ERwin do not really exploit it's full potential and capabilities.

Also, why would you ever code a VIEW or MACRO without fully qualifying the tables/columns? I've also noticed a lot of 'bad SQL habits' around like not always including the column list in an INSERT/SELECT or using SELECT * ... Shame, Shame and if you are one of those that don't do it - enjoy your W/E the next time you have a database change and you get called into work to fix the things you took short cuts on when the code was created.

How does your site use/enforce standards? I think that is a good topic to throw out for discussion - what say ye all?
