First of all, a big Thank You to Pekka Kostamaa for his contribution on this subject today.

I for one do not trust the time estimate in V2 and never did in the old V1 days either. It may have some sort of 'relative accuracy', ie. if some operation takes 10 seconds and another takes 1 minute in the Explain, then maybe it is really one second and 30 seconds respectively........
