We've had huge amounts of pain with ADO and NCR. The current NCR driver v02.08.01 handles simple things but is not really a native ADO
'provider'. And while it seems to work with Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS), it doesn't allow use of Distributed Transaction Control
(DTC). That means that a three tier server model with User Interface (UI), Business Rules (BR) and Data Access (DA) distributed on
different platforms is difficult to code.
