Subj: | | SQLrowcount Function |

From: | | Bethany Withers |
We are attempting to use the SQLrowcount function in ODBC. I looked it up in the Teradata ODBC Driver for Unix users guide and that it
is a supported core level function, but it didn't state the exact syntax. I would like to use it to capture the number of rows that will be
sent over the LAN to the requesting user before we actually begin transmitting the rows to tell them if they have asked for something
stupid, not that they would of course. I am sure many of you have figured this out and it is probably easy, but I am a mainframe person
trying to help a UNIX developer, which can be a dangerous thing. You help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Beth
