Subj: | | Hung up session |
|
From: | | Karen Gebhard |
I have a session lurking on the teradata box and don't know how to get rid of it. I started a multiload delete over the weekend from the
mainframe. During the early hours of Monday morning, the mainframe was ipl'd and the mainframe job got disconnected from the teradata
machine. I tried to restart the mainframe job Sunday night but get a blocked condition when I look a PMON. When I try to abort the session
from PMON, it says session no longer available. I can't drop the table or do anything to it because of this session that is out in limbo.
How can I get rid of it?
