Karen, The user priorities are set using the account string portion of the user setup. Most systems come with 4 priorities: R=Rush, H=High, M=Medium, L=Low. To change a priority for an existing user from low to high, you can use the following SQL: modify user username as account = '$H'; Or you can use WinDDI by highlighting the user and choosing "modify user" from the menu. You can then fill in the information in the account box. If you want to change a users priority for a specific job that may be executing, you can use Pmon, choose "Session", highlight the user, and click on "User info". You can then choose "modify" and it will bring up the current account string. You will have the option of changing the priority for just this session, or all future sessions. Hope this helps!
