We were going to use the Teradata ODBC driver with Solaris 2.6 (Sparc), but Teradata just discovered that when their driver is used with a kernel marked GENERIC and ending in greater than 10, there is a core dump. Since we spent 2 days finding this bug, I thought I might pass this on to anyone experiencing connectivity failure on Solaris boxes.
