Subj: | | Using UNIX shell variables in Fastload |
|
From: | | Bharat Tripathi |
Is there any way to reference a UNIX shell variable in a fastload script? Specifically, in the current data warehouse, the data
warehouse is being updated daily. The data is transferred from the source system to a 'dated' directory (09291999 for today). So, basically
I want to be able to change the source filename dynamically.
Has anyone ever done something like this?
I would very much appreciate any help on this.
Thanks in advance,
Bharat
