We also had some 6701 errors at v2r3, although they were not exactly the same as what you describe. We requested the fix for DR 47441
which is in PTDBMS 03.00.01.29, and that seemed to fix most of our 6701 errors. (Note: we had another 6701 that was related to a derived
query, and that was fixed by DR 47275 which is in PTDBMS 03.00.01.26).
I tried your query at PTDBMS 03.00.01.38 and it worked okay as is.
In general, I would recommend that anyone running at v2r3 should try to pick up the latest efixes, if they haven't done so already. And
the fixes just keep coming & coming!
