My apology to those of you who had problems with the attachments this morning. The service I'm using doesn't handle attachments very
gracefully (although it does everything else really well) and it's better to avoid attachments.
One problem is that attachments are treated like message text for those who receive TDATA-L in the digest form. They do not receive the
attachment and the resulting digest can be roughly twice the size of the attachment (if it was binary).
Another consideration is that some people have to pay for their connect time and are unable to discard the message/attachment before they
are forced to download them.
When you have something that you would like to distribute to the list (and it's text), it's best to include it in the body of your
message. If you can't include it (because it's binary or it's too large), then it's best to ask people to contact you if they would like
the file.
At the moment, I've set a limit to the maximum size for any given message (roughly 200 lines per message). If this isn't sufficient,
then please let me know and I'll increase the limit.
