Most of the details can be found in the V2R3 version of the SQL Reference Manual (Volume 1). For releases prior to V2R3, use the Database Design and Administration Manual.

Some additional information about Account String Expansion can be found in the V2R3 version of the Database Design Manual - the information is scattered through-out the manual, generally under 'account string'. I use the PDF version of the manuals because they are easier to search.

If you need a copy of the manuals, you can find the PDF versions at www.info.ncr.com. These manuals are free and available to everybody. If anybody is interested (just drop me a note), I'll ZIP-up the relevant V2R3 manuals and e-mail them to you.
