I have been looking around for other discussion groups and forums that have a Teradata focus. You might want to take a look at them since they serve a slightly different purpose than the TDATA-L Discussion Group. Here is what I have found: Deja News: www.dejanews.com You will have to register (no cost) to gain access. I clicked on 'My Deja News' and this provided a link to the registration. After that, you can sign-up for those communities that you are interested in. Most of the Teradata activity seems to occur in COMP.SYS.NCR. I find the community structure awkward and so I use their search engine to find Teradata threads. Tek-Tips: www.tek-tips.com You will have to register (no cost) to gain access. Only one question has been posted to the Teradata forum. Teradata Forum: www.teradataforum.com You will have to register (no cost) to gain access - use the Login/Logout button. After you register, use the Options button to set-up your preferences. This site is well implemented and in my opinion, much better than Deja News or Tek-Tips.
