Hi,

Please check if the database has been restarted at the time when you got an error.

You can check the /var/log/messages also.

Sql:

     Select thedate,cast(thetime as char(8)),text
        from dbc.SW_event_log
        where thedata=date
        And extract (hour from thedate)=x
