It is an improved set of load/unload tools. Normally, Fastload, Multiload, TPump - load, Fastexport - export.

These tools have two common features:

- Sinlge read of data source, parallel import into TD

- Specific scripting per tool

TPT is different in these two points:

- parallel read of sources (e.g. text files) and parallel import into TD

- One scripting language for all "operators" - which is a new word for previsously known tools:

load operator = fastload

update operator = multiload

stream operator = tpump

export operator = fastexport

they are new "tools" which have new nama: SQL operator and a another one I can't remember. Check the documentation.
