Subj:   Unix Script calling showlocks

From:   Ronald Montemayor

Is there a NON-Interactive unix command to call showlocks? We would like to call it from a script.

We do have several ARC processes, and they do sometimes fail and leave a lock on db or tables, We would like to run this script at certain times where we all assume that all arcs should be done.

We do have an alert policies implemented in TDMGR, but this alert is for a blocked SQL, and it's already too late to learn about the HUT/Locks. We want to catch them ahead.

Thanks!

Ron
