Craig,

My understanding of these is:

Logon = session logged on to Teradata

Forced off = session was terminated by a pm/api request (perhaps coming from PMON)

Bad user = username supplied in logonstring is not known to Teradata

Bad password = wrong password supplied in logonstring

Logon failed = this usually comes from Fastload (and possibly Multiload). Fastload logs on sessions in groups of 16, so if the number of amps on your system is not divisible by 16 you'll get some of these for every fastload job. For example, if you have a 20-amp system, for each fastload job you'll find 4 of these.

Cheers,

Dave
