Hi James, Teradata doesn't have the feature that you want. In this area it only allows you to set a maximum age of a password, not a minimum age. There is nothing within Teradata which allows you to ** prevent ** a user from changing their password each day. If this is happening and is causing a concern (maybe batch userid's are having their password changed?) then I think all that can be done is to log the fact that it has happened. This could be done using Query Logging - but using this feature you would have to log detailed information for every request coming into Teradata. Why do you want to prevent this from happening? What are you trying to achieve? Cheers, Dave Ward Analytics Ltd - Information in motion (www.ward-analytics.com)
