I was going to suggest the same thing as Vinay - run from DBW or an equivalent command-line tool, such as cnsterm. You can direct the output
from any DBW/CNS application window to a log file.
Just for your information, it was precisely this lack of an elegant solution to redirecting checktable output that led us to add this feature
to CheckTable in Teradata Database release 15.10. CheckTable has an additional option, OUTPUT, that allows you to specify the output destination.
You can create, append to, or overwrite an existing log file, or echo the output both to the console screen and to a specified file.
