Hi Sridhar, Thanks for this post. "Row Hash locks will upgrade to Table level write lock when there are multiple row hashes or sub queries in where condition though PI or USI column is included". Just sharing a similar issue which I had a few weeks back: An Informatica job (which has Inserts and updates) with PDO logic with more than 100 sessions in a single job, was failing due to "Dead Lock" Issue in Prod and was successful in Dev. In DEV and PROD, the DDL was same, Update statement was same but PI was different. In DEV they were updating a non PI column which was placing row hashlocks and in Prod the updates were on PI column which is a Table level lock leading to Deadlock.
