Hi Sravan, Do not concentrate on CPU consumption only. Look at IOs, AWT usage, Disk and CPU skew... You can also try to get as much information as you can about the canary query itself from DBQL: Was the canary query long at some particular step? Was there a bottleneck at parsing time? Was the query not blocked by some other transaction? Regards, Tomas
