I encountered a problem trying to connect to the Teradata using perl DBI. The exact message was similar to the one in the post referenced at this URL teradataforum.com/teradata/20080812_163446.htm :Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at .../Teradata.pm line 5081. After much messing around, it turns out that the problem was that the credentials I was using were incorrect (i.e. invalid user ID, or wrong password). I just thought I would post this as the possibility of incorrect credentials being the problem was not offered as a solution in the original post (referenced above). Glenn Mc
