Hi Dipti,

Primary aim of PI should be fast data retrieval. Reports should be generated within SLA.

So you have to check the downstream how data is been pulled from DW to generate reports.

According to your reporting query, how tables are joined, you have to choose a proper PI.

If your reports are using date range, it's better to change UPI to PI + PPI.

If your reports need data from Fact and Dimensions, you have to give a connection between two (PK-FK) and for performance you can create SI.

It's all depends on your requirement.
