Hi,

Are you talking about 'Teradata Express' version 15? That runs in a separate virtual machine. When you start the VM the dbms service should start automatically (it is configured that way).

To do it manually you've got to start by logging in to the Linux vm.#

Or is this a 'real' Teradata system runing directly on Windows?
