Hi Forum,

Could you please provide me the Encryption techniques that are available in Teradata? We are on 13.10 version. We would like to know, what encryption algorithms are available? Can the backups also be encrypted? What encryption algorithms are available for backups?

What I could find so far is the UDFs and some third party tool. Are those the only options that are available?
