Dear esteemed colleagues,

Does anyone have an easy way to prevent users (both technical and / or normal ) to perform updates while backups are running.

They may be delayed, and not necessarily forced off the system.

I was thinking at TDWM rules to accomplish this, but unfortunately our appliance runs on Linux SLES 10 with TD13.10 as DB version.

I was under the impression that only as of SLES11 with TIWM you could do such things again?

All suggestions are welcome.
