Subj:   Re: Duplicate unique prime key error encountered for ODBC Teradata Session Mode

From:   Sughesh.Sumansingh

Hi Win,

As per my knowledge it is not depend on ANSI or TERADATA mode.

Since it is a SET table, it will ignore duplicates in INSERT-SELECT, but will throw error when it is row by row insert.

One thing is TERA mode is case insensitive, but ANSI is case sensitive. But table columns in UPI are defined with not case specific. So that won't be the issue.

Regards,

Sughesh.
