Remember that space is managed on a per-AMP basis. It doesn't matter how much total space you have left; if even one AMP is out of space, you
are out of space.
The "DBC running out of space" was most likely due to highly skewed Transient Journal usage (in turn due to the highly skewed DELETE
running).
The sessions remaining in ABORTING status were probably rolling back failed SQL units of work, which then had to scan through the unusually
large (and skewed) Transient Journal.
