Subj:   Is OREPLACE always case sensitive

Hi,

I am getting to grips with using the relatively new OREPLACE function that will replace a searched string with another.

I have noticed that it is case sensitive even when the incoming source column is defined as NOT CS.

Is there any way to make it ignore case sensitivity? I am guessing by the definition you cannot.

So,

SELECT OREPLACE ('mon Tue Wed' , 'MON' , 'Mon') will do nothing.

However

SELECT OREPLACE ('mon Tue Wed' , 'mon' , 'Mon') returns 'Mon Tue Wed'

thank you
