Hi - In the Release Summary for v14.10, in the section entitled Automated Statistics Management, the following bullet point occurs:

DBQL logging options that record Optimizer statistics usage and recommendations.

Has anyone on v14.10 investigated the type of feedback available about Optimizer decision making with respect stats and their usage?

Has anyone had success identifying "useless' stats (particularly the multi-column variety) that may be dropped?

Anything that may be shared?

In our shop, stats collection and the decisions around stats to collect are performed by DBAs or their fairly vanilla processes.
